I get a lot of questions about why I chose Young Living versus any other oils currently on the market. If any of you know me well enough, you know I researched the crap out of essential oils before I committed to finally buying Young Living. It took me almost 2 years to finally order them and then another 2 months after I received the kit to really start using them. Now, I use the heck out of these little babies and can't imagine life without them. They are that good!
Are you already an oil user who doesn't care about the brand of their oils or where they come from? You are probably asking yourself, "why should I pay that amount of money for an oil that I can run down to the market and buy for a few bucks?" There is a huge difference between the oils that you buy at the store versus buying therapeutic grade oils. Just to let you know, truly, essential oils are not regulated by anyone. Which means any typical farmer can plant something in the ground, spray a whole bunch of chemicals (pesticides) on it, distill it a whole bunch of times, add some alcohol or water to it and call it an essential oil. According to the government anyone can put 100% Pure Essential Oil on the front label but only 5% is required to be the actual plant. Most essential oil companies have no standards. They can make oils out of whatever they find on an unregulated farm and sell them to uneducated people as toxic-free and "good for you".
Which brings me to why young Living is the best as far as I am concerned and different from all the other companies. No other oil company can say that they own farms all over the world with rigorous standards. If it's not pure I highly doubt it is coming out of Gary D. Young's company. They have very high standards. The Seed to Seal promise people! You can literally get every batch of info from the seed, to planting, to harvesting, to distilling, to bottling to make sure you're actually getting a pure therapeutic grade oil. These are really important things to consider when picking out an oil company. You may have to buy less but you will definitely be getting phenomenal quality! Trust me on this one! Sometimes, less is more.
